Tackle Monumental Tasks With The Slice And Dice Method
Sometimes we are faced with monumental tasks.
You might be tasked to lead and manage thousands of employees. Or you are learning a new language. Or you have an enormous pie to finish on your own.
At first glance, the enormity of the tasks may seem daunting and challenging to evaluate. One way to handle the massive undertaking is using the Slice and Dice method.
To slice and dice means breaking down a big task into smaller parts. It will be easier for you to assess the different parts or perspectives to understand smaller pieces better. With better understanding, you can tackle the big task, one small piece at a time.
Slice and dice are used frequently and often taken for granted. You slice and dice vegetables in the kitchen for easier cooking and eating. In programming, you code small modules and piece them together. In teaching, you break down hard-to-understand knowledge and present them in digestible packets of content.
Whenever you face a monumental task and begin to panic, take a step back and breathe. Review your undertaking with the Slice and Dice method, and a path towards resolution will appear.
