Find Your Purpose from the Past
A time will come when you start wondering and ask yourself...
What is my purpose in life? Why am I here? What am I to accomplish in this lifetime?
The search for the answer is a life-long quest.
At times, it may seem as if you know the answer with great certainty. It rumbles in your belly, echos in your heart, and the universe resonates in your body.
Other times, the answer eludes you. The long search leads to an endless abyss. Or a soul-shaking event had you reconsider your previous answer. What then?
There are many ways to discover your life's purpose. One method is by reflecting on your past. Befriend your younger self and ask the following questions. The answers may reveal specific patterns that may guide you to your purpose.
- At 6 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up? Why?
- What did you want to be when you were 16 years old? Why?
- In your mid-twenties, what did you want to be? Why?
